BizBox was established in Port Elizabeth in 2000. The emerging business and its managing partner, Michele Lehy won the prestigious SA Council of Businesswomen’s annual “Grassroots Businesswoman of the Year” award in 2001.

The company’s mission is to “Access your community”. This represents how the business strives to motivate, include and inform the community in our fundraising, feeding and communication initiatives.

BizBox lives up to its tagline of "Access your community" by getting involved in the marketing and distribution of e’Pap, a nutriceutical porridge.  Although this product is widely distributed by BizBox to pharmaceutical wholesalers for general public consumption, BizBox is actively involved in the marketing and distribution of the product for use in feeding schemes.

It is the goal of BizBox to canvas corporate institutions and government to sponsoring the distribution of e’Pap, a maize/soya based vitamin and mineral enriched instant cereal that is recommended as a nutritional weight-gain supplement for children from the age of 6 months, to hungry township children in South Africa.

BizBox also strives to use art as an effective medium to create intense awareness for the HIV/Aids pandemic in South Africa and the world. It is the belief of BizBox that art is an international language and that it will depict HIV/AIDS in a different and innovative way for all members of the South African community and the world allowing them to understand the impact of the disease. Therefore communities and organizations can contribute to make their own difference to mankind
